Last year on our 6th Anniversary of trading under the Comxo banner we celebrated by staging William Shakespeare's ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Those of you who attended will remember that it was a huge success and a truly memorable and exceptional evening; so many of you have been asking that we have decided to do it again. Whilst ComXo will be inviting guests, we have also opened it up to a select number of paying customers in order to raise money for charity.
The evening will be unique. The venue is my family's property, St. Leonard’s Hill, a remarkable and historic site from which seven counties can be seen, as well as George III’s favourite view of Windsor Castle.
The historic house that used to stand here is now reduced to a romantic ivy covered ruin, which will provide the backdrop for the play.
After last years triumph the British Shakespeare Company have once again decided that it would make the perfect venue for the opening night of their summer season.
It is an open air Theatre Production so we are at the behest of the weather and, it is in a wood, so sensible shoes are advised but we will be providing covered seating (much more comfortable than last year!).
Parking will be off site with a scenic 10 minute walk to the top of the hill. If you need help with transportation please let us know.
The evening is our way of saying thank you for your support over the years or getting to know you better in a relaxed unusual event.
Champagne and canapés will be served on arrival and there will be an opportunity to enjoy more substantial fayre during the interval.
This year we expect spaces to go very quickly so if you would like to reserve seats please contact us 01753 443932.
We hope you will join us for this event.
