What Will You Be Doing

The purpose of this role is to source exceptional talent to meet business recruitment needs. Applying effective recruitment strategies and run suitable campaigns to increase our appeal to a more diverse candidate base.

Your Principle Accountabilities

  • Ensure the successful recruitment and onboarding of employees into the company within the given time frame and budget.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure business recruitment needs are met.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to fully understand business requirements, candidate specifications and role requirements.
  • Create engaging, accurate and appealing job adverts.
  • Benchmark roles internally and externally to provide consistency.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Source effective online platforms to advertise and recruit the best talent for the business.
  • Regularly monitor and oversee inbound recruitment traffic.
  • Generate and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates.
  • Schedule and manage all stages of the interview process.
  • Attend or facilitate further stage interviews as the business requires.
  • Utilise DNA & Strength finder testing to identify ideal candidates, from internal and external talent pool.
  • Identify and execute appropriate testing for candidates relevant to the role.
  • Liaise with HR, resource planner, trainer and hiring manager to arrange effective inductions. Be present on first day of induction to welcome new colleagues.
  • Provide weekly report to the Head of Finance and Administration on all recruitment.
  • Provide weekly updates to any hiring managers on active recruitment campaigns.
  • Represent the Company at networking events and fairs; utilising social networking to attract and source new talent.
  • Continuously review and  strengthen our recruitment process.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to internal interview practices.
  • Make recommendations to the Switchboard management team regarding the improvement of staff retention and incentives based on current hiring trend
  • Keep up to date with latest trends and employment markets to gauge our position and presence within the markets.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to define our employer brand.
  • Engage regularly with the Managing Director and Marketing team to ensure you hold a clear understanding of our company’s image, culture, USPs and reputation.
  • Act as an ambassador of ComXo. 
  • Keep abreast of internal business changes and keep organisational knowledge strong ensuring a clear understanding on the function and needs of each internal team.
  • Analyse key recruitment MI to drive improvements, make better recruitment decisions and ultimately improve the quality of talent.
  • Ensure all aspects of the recruitment process and touchpoints are in accordance with current legislation, GDPR and HR guidelines.
  • Work with managers to develop, maintain and standardise job descriptions.



  • Previous experience in recruitment.
  • Experience using recruitment platforms.
  • Experience using Microsoft packages.


  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent.
